About Nyaykar

Nyaykar is an independent Indian consumer-rights tool. You describe your problem in plain Hindi or English, and it identifies the correct regulator — RBI, IRDAI, TRAI, RERA, DGCA, FSSAI, the Cyber Crime portal, NCH or a Consumer Commission — then drafts a formal complaint letter in the format that authority expects.

Who builds Nyaykar

Nyaykar is built and maintained by Anil Bhutia, working independently. My background is in software and technology, and I write about AI — my books are on Amazon Author Central.

I am not a lawyer, and Nyaykar is not a law firm. I want to be direct about that, because it decides how you should use this site. The expertise I bring is in building systems that stay accurate — the verification described below — not in legal practice. For anything complex or high-value, consult a qualified consumer advocate.

How we keep it accurate

AI tools confidently invent legal sections and government URLs. That failure is the main risk in a product like this, so most of the engineering effort goes into preventing it. Concretely:

  • Statutes are checked against a fixed allowlist. Every legal provision the AI is permitted to cite is on a pre-verified list, checked against indiacode.nic.in, the Government of India’s official statute repository. If a section is not on that list, the letter says “as per applicable provisions” instead of inventing a number.
  • Authority links are verified, never AI-generated. Portal URLs come from a maintained allowlist of regulator and company grievance pages. Anything outside it is checked live before it is shown to you.
  • If we cannot verify a detail, we do not state it. Where a helpline or email cannot be confirmed against an official source, we link the official page rather than print a number that might be wrong. A vague answer that is true beats a specific one that is not.
  • Every letter is a draft for you to review. Nyaykar produces a starting point. You are the person who signs and submits it, so read it and check the details first.

What Nyaykar will never do

  • Submit a complaint on your behalf. Government portals require you to authenticate personally with OTP or Aadhaar. That is a legal requirement, not a missing feature.
  • Ask for your portal passwords or Aadhaar number. Nyaykar never needs them.
  • Promise you an outcome. No tool can guarantee a refund or a ruling. Anyone who tells you otherwise is selling something.
  • Sell your complaint data. See the privacy policy for exactly what is collected and how long it is kept.

Why it exists

India’s National Consumer Helpline handles a very large volume of complaints every month, and a great many valid grievances never get filed at all. Usually not because people lack a case, but because the process is opaque: it is genuinely hard to know whether your problem belongs to RBI or the Insurance Ombudsman or a District Consumer Commission, what the letter should contain, or what the fee and time limit are.

None of that is secret information. It is simply scattered and written in language most people find impenetrable. Nyaykar exists to collapse that into a few minutes, in the language you actually speak.

Contact & corrections

If something on this site is wrong — a stale portal link, an outdated fee, a rule that has changed — please tell me and I will fix it. Corrections are genuinely welcome; accuracy here matters more than being right.
