Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Overview
Nyaykar provides a digital service that uses AI to generate consumer complaint letters and identify the appropriate Indian regulatory authority. Because the cost of generating a letter is incurred the moment our AI runs, our refund policy is set out below in plain language.
2. Pay-per-use letters (₹49)
Single-letter purchases are non-refundable once the letter has been generated and shown to you. The AI cost has already been incurred at that point.
If your payment was successful but the letter was not generated (for example, our service failed before producing output), you are entitled to a full refund. Email hello@nyaykar.in within 7 days of the transaction with your payment ID.
3. Pro (₹199 — 30-day pass)
- Pro is a one-time 30-day pass, not an auto-renewing subscription. You are charged once; there is no recurring charge and nothing to cancel.
- The fee is non-refundable once the pass is activated, because the unlimited-letter benefit is available immediately.
- Pro features remain active for 30 days from purchase. After that your account reverts to Free automatically unless you buy another pass.
4. Pro Annual (₹1,499 — 365-day pass)
- Like Pro, this is a one-time pass (365 days), not an auto-renewing subscription. If you have used very few or no letters, you may request a pro-rata refund on the unused portion of the pass, less a flat ₹100 administration fee.
- Refund request must be raised by emailing hello@nyaykar.in from the registered email on the account.
- Refund is processed to the original Razorpay payment method within 7–10 working days of approval.
5. SMB / Business plan (₹499 / month)
The SMB / Business plan is not yet available for purchase. When it launches it will follow the same one-time-pass, non-auto-renewing rules as Pro in section 3.
6. Duplicate or failed payments
If you were charged twice for the same purchase, or if a payment was deducted but did not unlock the service, the duplicate / failed charge is fully refundable. Razorpay typically returns failed payments to your account within 7 working days automatically. If it hasn't, email us with the payment ID and we will assist.
7. How to request a refund
- Email hello@nyaykar.in from the email address on your Nyaykar account.
- Include your Razorpay payment ID (begins with
pay_) and the reason for the refund request. - We respond within 2 working days.
- If approved, the refund is initiated within 7 working days and lands in your original payment account 5–10 working days after that, depending on your bank.
8. Renewals & cancellation
- Pro and Pro Annual are one-time passes with no auto-renewal. There is no recurring charge, so there is nothing to cancel — your access simply ends when the pass expires.
- To continue using Pro after expiry, buy another pass from the pricing page or your dashboard.

9. Chargebacks
Please contact us before raising a chargeback with your bank. We are happy to resolve genuine issues directly. Accounts with chargebacks raised without first contacting us may be suspended pending investigation.
