Aapne mobile number port karne ki request di — lekin kuch nahi hua. Ya phir request reject ho gayi bina kisi wajah ke. Ya UPC code expire ho gaya aur operator ne naya dene se mana kar diya.

Operator in reasons se port reject nahi kar sakta:

  • "Hamara network better hai"
  • "Aapka contract khatam nahi hua" (post-paid contract ke bawajood bhi port karna aapka haq hai, sirf dues clear karke)
  • Koi SMS nahi aaya (yeh operator ki zimmedari hai)
  • "System mein error hai"

Agar operator ne in reasons se reject kiya — yeh TRAI violation hai aur complaint grounds ban jata hai.


Step 1 — UPC mangein aur reject ka karan likhwayein

Pehle, agar port stuck hai ya reject hua hai:

  1. 1900 par SMS karein: PORT <space> <10-digit mobile number> — naya UPC milega
  2. Operator helpline par call karein (Jio: 199, Airtel: 121, Vi: 111, BSNL: 1503) — rejection ka reason maangein likhit mein (email ya SMS)
  3. Docket number lein — haan complaint karne par bhi ek docket milni chahiye. TRAI Telecom Consumers Protection Regulations 2012 ke under yeh mandatory hai

Step 2 — 7 din wait karein, phir Appellate Authority

Operator ke paas TRAI ke rules ke hisaab se 7 working days hain resolution ke liye.

Step 3 — TRAI complaint file karein

Agar Appellate Authority ne bhi 30 din mein koi response nahi diya — ab seedha TRAI complaint portal par jaiye:

Portal: trai.gov.in → Consumer Corner → Complaint

Complaint mein daalna hai:

  • Operator ka naam
  • Docket number (operator se mila tha)
  • Appellate Authority reference number
  • Nyaykar ka generated letter

TRAI complaint ke liye docket number mandatory hai — isliye Step 1 seedha karna zaroori hai.


Step 4 — Paisa wapas chahiye? Consumer Commission jaiye

TRAI sirf operator ko direction de sakti hai — monetary compensation award nahi kar sakti.
