TRAI sabse pehle yahi dekhta hai ki aapne operator ko mauka diya tha ya nahi. Isiliye docket number sambhal ke rakho.

Step 1 — Complaint Centre se docket number lo

Jio customer care ko call karke complaint register karao. Operator ko har complaint ka docket number SMS pe dena hota hai — turant.

Docket number maango aur likh lo. Dene se mana karein? Ye khud TRAI rule ka violation hai. Date, time, har SMS — screenshot kar lo.

Step 2 — Resolution time tak wait karo

  • Billing disputes: 4 hafte mein solve hona hi chahiye; refund/credit uske baad 1 hafte mein.
  • Network / service issues: QoS rules ke under jaldi.

Solve na ho, ya aadha-adhura jawab mile jo theek na lage — escalate karo. Docket number, date, unka jawab — sab paas rakho.

Step 3 — Appellate Authority ko likho

Har operator ko Appellate Authority rakhna mandatory hai (TCCCPR 2012). Yahan aap Complaint Centre ke jawab ke against appeal karte ho.

Step 4 — TRAI mein complaint

Appellate Authority bhi fail kare toh:

  • Docket number zaroor lagao — TRAI isko operator-first resolution ka proof maanta hai. Bina iske complaint wapas operator ke paas chali jaati hai.

Step 5 — Paise ke liye Consumer Commission

Ye yaad rakho: TRAI khud compensation nahi de sakta. Galat charge wapas + service kharab hone ka hartaana chahiye toh District Consumer Commission mein e-Jagriti portal (e-jagriti.gov.in) ke through file karo — ye 2024 mein purane eDaakhil portal ki jagah aaya hai.

  • "Deficiency in service" ka case — Section 2(11), Consumer Protection Act, 2019 ke under.
  • ₹5 lakh tak ke claim pe court fee NIL. Chhote telecom dispute ke liye filing free.
